If your Office 365 tenant is accessible and you have an admin role you can visit Microsoft 365 admin center. In the Service health report where you can find the current status of the Microsoft services used on your tenant.
It sounds silly for the SaaS platform, but remember that Microsoft 365 services are based on local Azure Datacenters and the outage of Office 365 services could be limited just to the region of the globe. In most of the listed services that monitor Office 365 status, you can limit the results to the country or region.
