Why is my OneDrive not syncing

OneDrive and OneDrive for Business could have sync issues. At this moment you need to recognize two OneDrive sync clients:

  • old OneDrive sync client used on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows Vista.
  • new, modern OneDrive sync client-dedicated for Windows 10 + systems

If you are using old OneDrive for Business sync client I recommend you to upgrade. Old OneDrive client will have sync issues and you can temporarily fix it, but you need to remember that issues with syncing will come back sooner or later. The only solution to make the old OneDrive stable is to upgrade to a new sync client.
