Why is my OneDrive not syncing
OneDrive and OneDrive for Business could have sync issues. At this moment you need to recognize two OneDrive sync clients:
- old OneDrive sync client used on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows Vista.
- new, modern OneDrive sync client-dedicated for Windows 10 + systems
If you are using older Windows editions (7 or Vista) or previous Office Suite versions you will have access to an older version of the OneDrive sync client which is really bad … Previous version of the OneDrive Windows app was highly unstable and problematic. If you have such a bad experience with OneDrive give it a try on Windows 10. This is something totally new and much better ?.
If you are using old OneDrive for Business sync client I recommend you to upgrade. Old OneDrive client will have sync issues and you can temporarily fix it, but you need to remember that issues with syncing will come back sooner or later. The only solution to make the old OneDrive stable is to upgrade to a new sync client.
